Orange Club. If anything this piece started as a self representation, the purple stripe on left representing the canvas, the orange, red, yellow and black face top centre, then I went a bit manic (I’m Bi-polar) I just got carried away with the abstract of a hand comming towards you full of bling. Back in the mid 80’s I worked as a glass collector in a night club called ‘ the club royal’, my catholic mates referred to it as the club orange, also the name of a fizzy drink.
